The author(s) retain copyright of the work but grant CSPG an exclusive license to process, reproduce, distribute, and archive the manuscript in any format.

The author(s) acknowledge that CSPG reserves the right to republish the article in edited volumes, special issues, or collections under the same licensing terms.

Consent for Publication

The author(s) grant CSPG the right to publish the manuscript in any media format (including print, electronic, or otherwise).

Author Rights and Republishing

Authors retain the right to:

  • Share and distribute their published work on personal, institutional, or public repositories, with appropriate citation of Indian Studies Review (ISR) as the original source, including the official publication details.
  • For republishing previously published content, authors must verify the terms of the original license, as prior publications may be subject to different licensing agreements. Authors are encouraged to consult the applicable license at the article level when republishing content.

Access

The Indian Studies Review (ISR) is available in both print and electronic formats.

The electronic version of the journal follows an open-access model, allowing readers to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of articles, as well as use them for any lawful purpose.

The e-version is currently accessible to all readers. Any revisions to the open-access policy will be formally announced on the journal’s website and relevant platforms.

The print version is available only to subscribers.
